If you are in a hurry and need a fast caramel cake recipe, there is one that will not disappoint. This is for a Southern style caramel cake and for it you need 3 ½ cups flour, 2 tsp baking powder, some melted butter ,2 cups granulated sugar, 6 eggs, 1 cup milk, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 3 cups brown sugar, 2 tablespoons corn syrup, 3 tbsp butter, dash of salt, ¾ cup cream and 1 tsp vanilla.

Once you have gathered all your ingredients, prepare the cake batter. Boil the ingredients for your frosting and allow this to cool. The cake and icing must both be cool before frosting the cake otherwise the icing will end up melting. Then you are left with a huge mess all over the place and no frosting left for your cake.

This recipe is extremely easy to make and best of all is a delight on the tastebuds. Make it for the holidays or at any other time of the year and you will love it.
