Today is a fairly sunny day outside here in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The sunshine is deceptive though because it is not especially warm out, mainly because there is wind. This morning I put on a short-sleeved shirt because it looked so sunny out, but on the walk to the bus stop I realized it was actually a little cold.

When I was walking to the bus stop I was thinking about what activities in Buenos Aires I wanted to do this weekend. Some of my favorite things to do are go to tango shows, the more touristy the better. For instance I go to Esquina Carlos Gardel on a twice weekly basis at least and maybe Café Tortoni, Tango Rojo, and some others when I get tired of it. Additionally I think some of the best things to do here include visiting the Recoleta Cemetery, shops in Palermo, buy leather, attend a soccer or polo game, and obviously go to a parilla (steak house) such as La Cabrera.

While I am at all the tango shows I like to taste wine. I think the nice color of Malbec wine really compliments tango dancing. On the other hand, if I were to picnic in a park, such as the parks in Palermo, and it were summertime I would likely drink a bottle of Torrontes wine, which is the most famous white wine from Argentina. Torrontes is very fruity and refreshing for the warm summer months.

A convenient way to try both Argentine Torrontes and Malbec is to go to a wine tasting while visiting Buenos Aires. There is quite a bit of information online about the best wine tastings in Buenos Aires. I recommend you make time between all those other activities to try some of the great Argentine wine from Mendoza, the main wine region in Argentina.

Are you considering a wine club membership for yourself? If so, there are a few things which you should know about wine clubs in order to make a good decision about where to spend your hard earned money.

To start, there are really two different types of wine clubs. The first is a wine club from a specific winery. The second is a wine club from a private company which spends time tasting wine (not a bad job huh?) and then ships the best of what they find to their wine club customers.

Of course not every private company is created equal. Some of these companies focus more on price than on quality. Additionally, some are small family owned businesses (the type I enjoy supporting) while others are owned by large corporations whom are simply lending their marketing muscle and brand name to an otherwise unknown wine club in an attempt to bring in more revenue.

When you serve a good beverage, you really have to get an opportunity and a chance to really just relish the beverage on its own. When you find good gourmet beverages, you want to have an experience, an intimate experience, an intellectual experience with that meal of a beverage; you want a full bodied experience, you want full taste, and it gets down to the quality and the things that you can deduce from taste. Because in the end, the perspective that’s really catching on in the culinary world, is that there is information in taste, and that there’s a reason that we appreciate taste to the nth degree; and there’s a practical purpose for imbuing such high values in and such rich textures in the foods and beverages that we take in, and that’s really the point of the whole culinary scene right now, that we’re really hearkening back to the fact that we eat to live.

The actual temperature has really lowered outside through the past few days. Just how the climate is currently is wacky. A short time ago, it absolutely was fairly great outside the house though presently there is snowfall on the ground and the temperature dropped significantly. As a consequence of these types of current temp changes, I made a decision to buy gourmet coffee online so I’m able to warm my self up for this cold temperature. I’m a legitimate admirer of flavored gourmet coffee and I normally shop for it from my good buddy’s fine coffee internet business. He has a special deal going on at his web site above where you can acquire 3 boxes of premium coffee for only 3 dollars. This is pretty cheap, but the deal is only available if you need a coffee subscription. But the neat thing is I just have to pay three us dollars for a thirty day supply. I can then cancel my membership if I want to.
